Kilcullen Farm & Nature Trail
The Kilcullen Nature Trail is an invaluable asset to the Kilcullen; it builds community, promotes the outdoors and wellness, and draws people into town to shop on the Main Street. Not only is the Nature Trail used by the residents of Camphill, it’s also extremely popular with the broader community. Families with buggies, pensioners, and everyone in-between can be spotted enjoying the river walk, garden, farm animals - all free and accessible in the centre of town. It was built a few years ago as part of a Difference Day with the help of 250 volunteers.
To make a donation towards its upkeep please drop your donation in an envelope to the staff An Tearmann. Any amounts small or large are appreciated and any surplus will be used exclusively for enhancing this local amenity.
200 + Staff from Fidelity Investments built a 750m long wheelchair accessible nature trail for the Bridge Camphill Community in Kilcullen Co Kildare. If you are in the area drop into the Bridge Camphill Community coffee shop on Kilcullen High Street and walk around this AMAZING nature trail after. THANK YOU Fidelity Investments and all that supported from Kilcullen.
A few months later a whole group from "The Irish Insurance Underwriters Exchange" came to give us a hand in finishing the nature trail off, with a gazebo seating areas, landscaping, tree planting as well as two deck areas overloocking the river.
The video below was created to give the people volunteering for both Difference Days an idea what our community is about.
