Thomastown Camphill Community

We welcome enquiries from energetic individuals or couples with a strong connection to the Camphill impulse who are interested in joining our community. We live in a variety of houses and flats in one part of this small, lively town and arrange our accommodation to suit the different constellations of people we support. We all work, full or part time, in The Watergarden: a garden and cafe in the town, which exists as a community facility and training place for up to 25 people with special needs. Ballybay Camphill Community

We are currently looking for a farm apprentice to join the Bio-dynamic apprenticeship on the farm here in Camphill Ballybay. Our 20ha farm of mixed dairy and beef is the ideal space for someone wanting to engage with the practical based Bio-dynamic apprenticeship scheme which is run by the Bio-dynamic Agricultural Association in the UK and is accredited by the Crossfield Institute.Although some experience with farming and/or Camphill life would be helpful it is not generally required. Enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential.Ideally the apprentice would live in one of our community households as a co-worker. |
