The old library is being transformed into a social space for volunteers to use in their time off. All the old books are being sorted through and in the future the library will be re-housed in the Mullenaglogh courtyard.
We are currently renovating some disused spaces to create better accomodation for some members of the community. First up was the spaced above the main office (now with real stairs!). Next will be the old costume storage room, which will become a bedroom with bathroom.
Last year Marco transplanted some small trees along the main footpath, and we've continued to improve the path - one space in the community that is definitely used by everybody - by giving it a new surface. Landscaping will be coming soon, we hope!
Our long-term project is to build a new craft space with a little shop and some rooms for therapies to improve our 'indoor options' especially during the winter months and to provide a dedicated space for essential therapeutic work.
