Specialised Bathrooms

After the permanent residents of Teach Solas got a specialised bathroom with self-cleaning toilet and walk-in bathtub in 2010, Mullenaglogh House followed in early 2012 and now Ard Collum people are looking forward to a new, special, bathroom as well.

The Therapy Building

For the last couple of years our massage therapist had to use bedroom for her work, our art therapist a dining room and our eurythmy therapist did not have a suitable space to do therapeutic work at all. We are now converting a hardly used wing of Mullenaglogh House into a therapy building to provide a quiet space for therapeutic work to happen.

The Library

There are many wonderful books in Grangemockler that did not have a proper home for the last few months. We are now converting our old office into a quiet space for all the books to borrow or study and a computer with internet access for volunteers.

The Farm Office

The increase of paperwork that needs to be done also affects our farmer. He now got his own office on the farm as our main office is far from his area of work.

The Central Larder

We have converted an unused space on the farm, the heart of our community into a central larder. The idea is that this larder supplies all four houses with everyday necessities, such as groceries, cleaning products and cosmetics.
