We had a very successful Cake Sale in July. We met many of our neighbors and holiday makers, told them about our coffee shop plans and ate lots and lots of cake! The money we raised during the summer goes toward the Coffee shop project. Thanks to all those who helped and those who ate!

Last Monday, all five of us: Eva, Lisa, Renate, Elke and Noa participated in the Flora Mini Marathon 2010 in Dublin. Thanks to Renate who kept us all running after her we crossed the finish line after one hour and 50 minutes. After six km out of the ten we got much encouragement from our friends in the community who stood at the side of the road cheering for us. We want to thank again to all those who supported us. This is another step for us toward building the Craft and Coffee shop. ======================================================================== On the Sunday of the 30th of May we had another fundraising event for the Coffee shop. On the land where the coffee shop will be build we had different activities for children and tea and cake. The activities were varied from fish making from willow to face painting and making friendship bracelets. We were very lucky with the weather and hope to have more events in the future. On Monday we are going to participate in the Mini Marathon in Dublin and already very excited! ======================================================================= We have had a succseful Cake and Craft Sale and we would like to thank all who came and supported us.
