Joe lynch is a native of Drogheda, Co. Louth and is married to Wendy and they have two grown up daughters. Joe holds a BSc. (Hons) (open) and has diplomas in ICT Teaching and Management & Industrial Relations and a postgraduate diploma in Mediation Studies and he is also a QFA. He has worked with the Irish Defence Forces for 23 years before moving to the community and voluntary sector in his capacity as the first CEO of the ex-servicemen and women’s homeless initiative ONET.
Joe has also worked with the disability Federation and the Irish Concrete Federation before returning to the C&V sector as CEO of the Parkinson’s Association. Joe joined Camphill as National Governance Coordinator in December 2012. Camphill’s National Office is based in Camphill’s Dunshane Community. Joe main area of work is around governance issues such as finance and management within Communities and he is deeply involved in discussions with HSE around funding and service agreements.
